Mr. Joseph Heil is an Independent Educational Consultant and School Psychologist based in Northern California's Wine Country.  Mr. Heil has his M.A. In Developmental Psychology and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. Prior to receiving his B.S. In Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, he attended the United States Air Force Academy. He has also done graduate study in San Francisco at California Institute of Integral Studies and at the Rudolph Steiner College in Sacramento.  

 

Mr. Heil has worked in a variety of educational settings and in private practice, with students pre-school through college age. Most recently, he worked for the last 23 years as a Guidance Counselor and School Psychologist at Analy High School in Sebastopol, California, where he was beloved for his ability to work effectively with students from all walks of life.

 

Mr. Heil is a fluent signer and also speaks Spanish and German.  He is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
